App Will Not Start
Use this page if OMN4 will not open, closes during startup, or never reaches the map screen.
Try The Safest Steps First
- Close OMN4 fully and open it again.
- Restart the device.
- If OMN4 shows a reset or recovery prompt after repeated failed starts, read it carefully before continuing.
- If recovery opens the app but asks for account details, sign in again.
- Keep the app open long enough for supported synced data to return.
What to expect: recovery may restore the app to a usable state before all synced data or offline map downloads are back in place.
Important Warning For Mobile Devices
Avoid uninstalling OMN4 as a first step on iPhone, iPad, or Android. Reinstalling can remove downloaded maps from that device.
Sync can restore supported personal data after sign-in, but it does not automatically restore every offline map download. Download the maps you need again from Map Management if local map data was removed.
If Startup Problems Continue
Email support@anquet.com. Do not rely on the signed-in support ticket page if OMN4 will not open far enough for you to sign in.
Include:
- the platform: Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad, or Android
- the device model
- the app version from Settings > About, if you can reach it
- what appears before OMN4 stops
- whether the issue started after an update, sign-in change, sync, or map download
