Edit a Route

Use route editing when you already have a route and need to correct, extend, shorten, or tidy it.

Open The Route

1. Open Routes, Tracks & Waypoints.
2. Find the route in your library.
3. Show it on the map or open it directly.
4. Enter the map editing workflow for that route.

Typical Changes

• move route points
• add extra points
• remove unwanted points
• rename the route
• reverse the route if you want to travel it in the other direction

Review Tools

For more detailed checking, use:

• Edit Mode for map-based changes
• Points Explorer for point-by-point review
• profile tools on desktop when you want to inspect the shape of the route
