Create a Route

Create a route when you want to plot a planned line on the map rather than record where you have already been.

Create The Route

1. Open the map in the area you want to work in.
2. Start route creation from the map controls.
3. Tap or click the map to add route points in order.
4. Pan and zoom as needed, then keep adding points.
5. Finish the route when the line is complete.

OMN4 saves the route into your route library with a default name until you rename it.

After Creating It

• rename the route if you want a clearer name
• review it in Points Explorer or the profile tools
• sync it if you want it on another device

Tips

• Desktop is usually faster for long or detailed route planning.
• Mobile can still do full route editing when you need to change something in the field.
