Points Explorer
Overview
Points Explorer shows the points inside a route, track, or waypoint item as a table.
Use it when you want to inspect the points that make up saved data instead of working only from the line or icons on the map.
Open Points Explorer
- Open Routes, Tracks & Waypoints, or use a route, track, or waypoint item from the map screen.
- Choose Show Points.
On desktop, Points Explorer opens in its own window. On mobile, it opens as a page.
Modes
Points Explorer uses a mode that matches what you open:
- Route for planned route points
- Track for recorded track points
- Waypoints for waypoint data
Route and Track modes can show richer distance, height, time, speed, and bearing columns. Waypoints mode focuses on names, positions, altitude, icons, comments, and descriptions.
