Install on Windows

Install OMN4 on Windows from Microsoft Store, then sign in so your account and saved data can sync.

Requirements

OMN4 requires Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11.

On your Windows computer, open the OMN4 download page and choose Microsoft Store under Windows.
Microsoft Store opens at OMN4, which it lists as Outdoor Map Navigator 4. Choose Get or Install.
When installation finishes, choose Open in Microsoft Store, or open OMN4 from the Start menu.

OMN4 is a separate app from OMN2 and OMN3, so make sure you install OMN4 itself.

When OMN4 first opens, it shows a few pages about OMN4. If you already have an account, choose Have an account? Sign in. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
If you are new to OMN4, create your account, then start your free trial or choose a plan when the app asks. If you already subscribe, sign in with the email address your subscription uses and your plan appears.
Let the first sync finish before judging whether your subscription or saved data are missing.
Open Map Management to download maps for offline use.

Microsoft Store keeps OMN4 up to date. If you have turned off automatic app updates, open Library in Microsoft Store and choose Get updates.

Windows is a good platform for route planning, reviewing longer routes, GPX import and export, and printing.
Offline map downloads are stored on the device that downloads them. Signing in restores supported cloud data, but it does not automatically copy offline map files from another device.
