Install on iOS

OMN4 for iPhone and iPad is coming soon to the App Store. The steps below explain how to install it once it is available.

Requirements

OMN4 requires iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later.

Install

On your iPhone or iPad, open the OMN4 download page and choose App Store.
The App Store opens at OMN4, which it lists as Outdoor Map Navigator 4. Tap Get, then confirm the download.
Open OMN4 when installation finishes.

OMN4 is a separate app from OMN2 and OMN3, so make sure you install OMN4 itself.

After Installation

When OMN4 first opens, it shows a few pages about OMN4. If you already have an account, tap Have an account? Sign in. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
If you are new to OMN4, create your account, then start your free trial or choose a plan when the app asks. If you already subscribe, sign in with the email address your subscription uses and your plan appears.
Wait for the first sync to finish.
Open Map Management if you want maps stored on the device.

Updates

The App Store installs new versions of OMN4 automatically, unless you have turned off automatic updates on your iPhone or iPad.

Testing Pre-Release Versions

If Anquet has invited you to test pre-release versions of OMN4, keep using your TestFlight invitation. Test builds arrive through Apple's free TestFlight app.

Notes For iPhone and iPad

OMN4 only asks for location access when you first use GPS features.
For large map downloads, it is best to leave OMN4 open until the download has settled.
Test any offline maps you need before you lose phone signal.
