Install on macOS

Download OMN4 for your Mac from the OMN4 download page, then sign in so your OMN account and saved data can sync.

Requirements

OMN4 requires macOS Sonoma 14 or later.

Install

On your Mac, open the OMN4 download page and choose Direct download under macOS.
Open the downloaded OMN4 installer (a .pkg file in your Downloads folder) and follow its steps. Your Mac asks for your password before it installs OMN4 in Applications.
When installation finishes, open OMN4 from your Applications folder, or search for it with Spotlight.

OMN4 is a separate app from OMN2 and OMN3, so make sure you install OMN4 itself.

After Installation

When OMN4 first opens, it shows a few pages about OMN4. If you already have an account, choose Have an account? Sign in. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
If you are new to OMN4, create your account, then start your free trial or choose a plan when the app asks. If you already subscribe, sign in with the email address your subscription uses and your plan appears.
Let the first sync finish.
Open Map Management to download maps for offline use.

Updates

When a new version is available, OMN4 shows a banner. Choose it to download the new installer, then open the installer as before. Your routes, settings and downloaded maps stay in place.

Notes For macOS

Search, settings, routes, and printing work well as desktop workflows, especially on a larger screen.
Offline map downloads are managed on each device, so a Mac needs its own downloads even when route data has synced from another device.
