Which OMN4 plan should I start with?
Most people choose OMN4 GB (£36 a year), with Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 maps of Great Britain. OMN4 Pro GB (£80 a year) adds OS VectorMap Local, the most detailed GB mapping. The pricing page lists what each includes.
If you already have an Anquet subscription, sign in before buying: your plan may already be there.
Do I need a subscription for each device?
No. One subscription covers the OMN4 apps on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android, wherever you bought it. Sign in with the same account on each device and your routes, tracks, waypoints and settings follow you. You choose which maps to download on each one. See Account Overview.
How does the trial work?
New subscribers get 7 days free, one trial per customer. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged; otherwise your annual subscription starts when it ends. Whether a trial applies is shown before you pay. See Trials and Renewals.
How do I cancel?
Your account page shows where you subscribed and exactly how to change or cancel it. In short, cancel with whoever takes your payment:
- App Store (you subscribed on iPhone or iPad): on your iPhone or iPad, open OMN4 and go to Settings > My Account > Manage in App Store.
- Google Play (you subscribed on Android): on your Android device, open OMN4 and go to Settings > My Account > Manage in Google Play.
- Anquet (you subscribed on omnmaps.com or in the Windows or Mac app): use Manage subscription on your account page, or in the Windows or Mac app under Settings > My Account.
You keep OMN4 until the end of the period you've paid for.

Which platforms does OMN4 support?
OMN4 has apps for Windows, Mac and Android; the iPhone and iPad app is coming soon to the App Store. The download page lists the requirements for each and where to get it.
Why use desktop as well as mobile?
A computer's bigger screen makes planning, reviewing and printing routes easier. Your phone comes with you outdoors, with offline maps and GPS. Your routes, tracks and waypoints sync between them through your OMN4 account.
Where should I start after installing?
Sign in, or create your account and choose a plan, then let the first sync finish. Open Map Management to download the maps you want offline. The Help Centre starts with Getting Started.

What map coverage is included?
OMN4 GB and OMN4 Pro GB include Ordnance Survey mapping for Great Britain: England, Scotland, and Wales. Northern Ireland mapping is not currently included. OMN4 also has low-detail worldwide coverage from OpenStreetMap. See Pricing for what each plan includes.
Do offline maps work without phone signal?
Yes, for the maps you've downloaded to that device. Maps you've only viewed online may not all be there, so download the areas you need before you set off. Your phone's GPS works without signal too. See Streaming vs Offline.
Do downloaded maps sync to every device?
No. Your subscription covers every device, and you choose which maps to download on each one. See Offline Maps.
How do I check what is stored offline?
Map Management shows the areas downloaded to the device, the space they use, and whether they are complete. The step-by-step walkthrough is in Map Management.
Routes, GPX, GPS, and printing
Your routes, GPS tracklogs, and paper maps.
Can I import and export GPX?
Yes. GPX is the standard exchange format for routes, tracks, and waypoints. It is useful for moving data between apps or keeping a portable copy, but it is not a full backup of every OMN4 preference. See What is GPX?
Does OMN4 record GPS tracklogs?
Yes, on a phone or tablet with GPS: OMN4 shows your position on the map and records tracklogs. iPhones and Android phones have GPS, but iPads have it only in Wi-Fi + Cellular models and some Android tablets have none, so check yours before relying on it outdoors. Recording needs location access set to Always (iPhone and iPad) or Allow all the time (Android). See GPS Overview.
Can I print maps from OMN4?
Yes, from the Windows and Mac apps. Choose the area, scale and layout, and print a paper map to carry as a backup. Start with Printing Overview.
