Trials and Renewals

New subscribers can start OMN4 with a 7-day free trial. Your annual subscription starts when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. Whether a trial applies is shown before you pay.

During A Trial

You can use OMN4 on your supported desktop and mobile devices, with the maps included in the plan you chose.
Sign-in, sync, maps, and account features work in the same way as they do for paid use.
Download only the maps you really need, because offline map data takes up the same storage during a trial as it does after purchase.

Cancelling During A Trial

Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged.

Subscribed on iPhone or iPad (App Store): on your iPhone or iPad, open OMN4 and go to Settings > My Account > Manage in App Store.
Subscribed on Android (Google Play): on your Android device, open OMN4 and go to Settings > My Account > Manage in Google Play.
Subscribed on omnmaps.com or in the Windows or Mac app: use Manage subscription on your account page, or in the Windows or Mac app under Settings > My Account.

Not sure where you subscribed? Your account page shows it, with the exact steps to cancel. In the app, Settings > My Account shows it too, for example Renews 12 Jun 2027 · App Store.

When A Trial Or Subscription Ends

If a trial or subscription ends without renewing, OMN4 asks you to subscribe before you carry on using it. Your routes, tracks, and waypoints are not deleted just because a trial ends, and you can still export them as GPX.

After Renewal

Sign in with the same account you used for the trial.
Run a sync.
Check Settings > My Account for the updated subscription.
Open Map Management if you expect new or restored mapping.

If Renewal Looks Wrong

Check the email address first. A surprising number of subscription problems turn out to be the right purchase on the wrong account.

If My Account still shows an old expiry after the purchase route says the renewal succeeded, contact support with the account email and purchase details.
