Coordinate Systems

OMN4 can show positions in different coordinate systems. This setting changes the format you see in the app and the format that is used in coordinate entry screens.

Common Reasons To Change It

• you prefer grid references for UK mapping
• you need latitude and longitude for sharing with other apps or devices
• you work with UTM or another mapping system for a particular region

What Changes

• coordinate readouts on the map
• coordinate search and entry tools
• the precision controls that appear in settings

What Does Not Change

• your saved routes, tracks, and waypoints
• the map imagery itself
• where an item is located
