Activities and Waypoints update
This update gives each Activity separate Route, Track, and Waypoint appearance. Items can keep following their Activity or store custom values of their own.
What Changes
- Settings > Styles is removed.
- Settings > Activities contains General, configured destinations, Calculations, Route style, Track style, and Waypoint style.
- All built-in Activities are supplied by OMN4. They cannot be created, renamed, moved between categories, archived, or deleted.
- Route, Track, and Waypoint appearance comes from Activity unless the item has a custom value.
- Folders and Waypoint groups affect storage only and do not supply Activity or appearance.
- Every Waypoint stores its own Activity.
- Tracklog distance filtering belongs to each Activity's Calculations section.
- Mixed selections can set Activity, set or reset custom values, and use Reset appearance.
- Folder and Waypoint-group Set Activity... gives everything below one Activity, confirms the exact count, and is one undoable operation. It makes those items match the Activity, clearing appearance set on them individually; tick Temporarily adjust appearance before applying to apply a variation without changing the Activity itself.
After Updating
Review your most-used Activities in Settings > Activities. Check Route, Track, and Waypoint style because they are independent.
Older OMN4 versions cannot read or sync the current data. Install the current app on every device and allow the first complete refresh to finish before editing or recording data.
